Xbox

Xbox is a gaming kit developed and owned by Microsoft. Xbox is a brand with series of gaming consoles. It represents Games , Streaming Service and Online services.The Xbox Online Service named Xbox Live let the users to play games online. 
Xbox was first introduced in November 2001. The name Xbox was derived from the term DirectX Box, a reference to Microsoft's graphics API, DirectX. At that time Xbox competed with Sony's PlayStation 2. 
The next launch by Microsoft was Xbox 360 in November 2005, competing with Sony's PlayStation 3. Till the end of June 2013 78 million copies of Xbox 360 were sold worldwide. The Xbox 360 showed an expanded abilities of Xbox such as to stream multimedia content from PC, stream music ,television programs and Movies via Xbox Music and Xbox Video.
Later, Microsoft also released Kinect, a motion control system for the Xbox 360 which uses an advanced sensor system. 
Xbox One was released in November 2013 as the successor of Xbox 360 , competing with Sony's PlayStation 4. Xbox One emphasis on internet-based features, such as the ability to record and stream gameplay, and to integrate with a set-top box to watch cable or satellite TV. As of January 2014 only 3 million copies were sold.
Kinect is a motion sensing device developed by Microsoft for Xbox 360 and Xbox ONE. It enables users to control and interact with their console/computer without the need for a game controller, through a natural user interface using gestures and spoken commands. 
Kinect was first introduced in November 2010 with Xbox 360.
