A year before Microsoft announced that the Company would set up Data Centres in India that would focus on offering cloud services. 

On this Tuesday Microsoft launched it's local Data Centres in Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. The data centres were inaugarated by the chief minister of Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. India has become one of the first countries after USA where Microsoft has made such big Investments. It will now have the highest levels of security and privacy. Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis has said that the government will utilise Microsoft’s cloud service to host a variety of digital services improving overall governance and boost productivity. Microsoft India is understood to have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Tamil Nadu government.

Microsoft India said that by setting up local data centres in the country, it has become the first public cloud provider from India. The company hopes that the banking, finance sector and government agencies will be able to take advantage of local data residency. The government’s digital locker and UIDAI programs are also expected to benefit from the services.

Recently Microsoft Launched it's own augmented reality headset, the HOLOLENS. Microsoft demonstrated the ability of the HOLOLENS to do everyday work tasks with absolute ease. At E3 2015, the company showcased gaming abilities of the HoloLens. We experienced the HoloLens at E3 2015, and the experience was quite brilliant in the controlled, demonstration environment. 

So, when it comes to virtual reality everyone thinks of HOLOLENS, which Company stated as "mixed reality". But now, it looks like Microsoft is set to take on Google's CardBoard with their own Virtual Reality box called VR KIT.Just like Google's CardBoard, VR KIT is targeted at low cost for the users. Since Microsoft is developing VR KIT windows phone will also be compatible with the device. Microsoft's VR KIT will work by inserting the Lumia into the slot, with display of Lumia driving the VR UNIT.

The head unit was first spotted at a Microsoft website promoting an upcoming hackathon to build apps for virtual reality. The event is being held on October 17, 2015 and  the hackathon page mentions that all teams that come up with "successful" ideas will be handed a VR Kit for free.The Teams can build their apps on three categories : Game, Education and Corporate Apps. Winner from each category will be selected at the Event.

Microsoft Visual Studio is a software application that includes nearly all elements to computer programmers for software development. With the help of visual studio computer programmers can built console application, windows forms, Software, mobile applications, websites, web applications and web services.
Visual Studio includes a code editor supporting different programming languages such as C, C++, VB.NET, C# and F#. Visual studio also supports m, python and ruby with some language services installed services. it also supports XML/XSLT, HTML/XHTML;, JavaScript and CSS for web development.

Microsoft provides a community(Dreamspark Program) from which users can download visual studio and other products for free by verifying their student's status.

Being an IDE, Microsoft visual studio includes code editor that supports syntax highlighting and code completion using IntelliSense for variables, functions, methods, loops and LINQ queries.

Visual Studio features background compilation. As the code is being written, visual Studio compiles it in the background in order to provide feedback about syntax and compilation errors, which are flagged with a red wavy underline. Warnings are marked with a green underline. Background compilation does not generate executable code.Visual Studio includes visual designers for the development of applications.

With Windows 10 , microsoft released many new features in which one of them was - Windows Hello. Windows Hello is a security feature by which you can sign in your pc via fingerprint scanning, facial recognition and etc. to prevent any unauthorized access. 

Facial recognition being one of the cool and best feature for authenticating can be tricky sometime when you have got identical twins. An online publication, The Australian, tested the facial recognition feature of Windows Hello in Windows 10 for identical twins. They did an experiment in Sydney and Melbourne with the help of six pairs of identical twins and asked one from each one of them to register on the Windows 10 PC using the facial recognition security lock. After this, the other twin from each set was asked to look into the camera and try to sign-in. Interestingly, Windows Hello identified them and denied access to the PC.

According to The Australian, they tried many different ways by changing the looks of the twin and still Windows Hello was able to identify the correct one. They also said that sometimes while verifying, Windows Hello took time to authenticate the correct child but interestingly, was always right.

Microsoft claimed about Windows 10 improved security features and said that the chances of allowing someone else to sign-in to Windows 10 PC are even less than 1 in 100,000.
